I hope this finds you well as you’re preparing for this season of thanks. We have much to be thankful for at Birth Choice and Rose Home. We have FOUR newborn babies in the home right now! We usually have a mix of pregnant and postpartum residents so one or two newborns at a time is more our norm. It has been so sweet and maybe at times a little overwhelming. Rose Home is currently full with a waiting list, so as always we are working to help all our mothers as best we can.
Rose Home is in need of support right now beyond our regular operating budget. Rose Home is an older home in an older neighborhood in Oklahoma City which is in a perpetual state of needing repairs. We seem to have a few extra things hitting us hard right now. Repairs need to be made to the roof as well as our plaster ceilings and walls. We recently had to replace a dishwasher and are on the verge of needing to replace several other items.
The cost of these repairs can limit us in the services and programming we are able to offer our residents. We work very hard to give our residents every opportunity possible on their way to becoming independent women caring for themselves and their children.
Please consider giving to Rose Home as it has such a direct impact on the women and children living in the home. A former resident said...
“Rose Home gave me a safe place to stay when I became pregnant and didn't have anywhere to go. They helped me find resources and gave me a chance to find a job that has helped me be able to independently care for my son. Rose Home means the world to me. Without Rose Home I would not be where I am today!”
With your support Rose Home is able to provide a safe home with many resources. We are thankful for YOU and all you do to allow us to carry on our mission and serve Oklahoma women and children. Please join us in this time of need.
Sincerely, Ellen Roberts
